A new group of volunteers—comprised of citizens from Armenia and from Armenian communities around the world, including distinguished cultural figures and veterans wounded in the 44-day war— ascended to the summit of Mount Hatis, uniting around a meaningful and symbolic initiative.
We are a strong nation, rich in talent and history, yet our greatest strength has always been our unity.
As the first nation to adopt Christianity as a state religion, my aim is to bring this initiative to life in the spirit of solidarity and reconciliation.
The construction of the Christ statue represents a new bridge on the path toward pan-Armenian cohesion, bringing generations together in pursuit of a shared purpose.
