Dear compatriots, The statue of Jesus the Christ, a symbol of national revival, inner solidarity and peace, will soon become a reality. An information office dedicated to the creation of the statue has officially been launched, along with an interactive website where you can follow the entire process—from the birth of the idea to its realization. This idea, which was born in the heart of my family and myself, now belongs to the entire Armenian people—Armenia, the diaspora, and all Christians. It is a national monument, a symbol of our faith and unity. Taking into account the people’s desire to participate in this historic undertaking, I have instructed the development of mechanisms that will enable everyone to make a genuine contribution: to plant a tree, bring a bucket of soil, place a stone, or simply carry out some work with prayer and hope in their hearts. Starting from September 26, this opportunity will be open to all. May this statue become a beacon of light, visible to the entire world, as a testimony that Armenia stands on the path of national unity.
